Radio Rupert a.k.a
Radio 428 (metres) - Anecdotal evidence suggests that Hugh
Nolan, co founder of Geronimo, carried his important papers in a
Rupert annual. Rupert/428 tested from Radio Andorra in the
Pyrenees in 1969. UK reception was poor, so Radio Monte Carlo
was chosen for further tests using the Geronimo name
You are listening
to an initial 25 minutes 53 seconds taken from a surviving 10"
tape reel that
was retrieved from Radio Andorra...followed by a further 3x
reels of Radio 428/Rupert, culminating in an exclusive interview
with Jimmy Miller discussing the Rolling Stones album 'Let It
Bleed'
